Finis E. Yoakum House, 1915. Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument No. 287. Built for the founder of what came to be known as the Pisgah Home Historic District in Highland Park (on the National Register of Historic Places), Finis E. Yoakum provided faith healing and social services to the needy around 1900.  In the 107 years since its completion, the Yoakum House is one of the largest landmarks in the neighborhood and miraculously has retained much of its original historic fabric
